Read the details below!

Scientific mediation training course in quantum information
Registration is now OPEN !
The objective of this short training course is to give, to PhD students working in one of the thematics of quantum information, the keys to answer easily these questions to the widest possible audience. This training course offers them the opportunity to collaborate all together and create projects such as a videoa video game, an escape game or any other  “things” you have dreamt to create once.

Doctoral workshop in Quantum information
Accessible only to PhD students and Post-doc
The QICS doctoral committee is organizing a 3-days workshop in the heart of a magnificent Norman natural park, intended to PhD students and PostDocs. The program will be composed of a scientific part and more convivial moment. Tutorials and group activities will be proposed, in order to create a community of young researchers working on Quantum Information at Sorbonne University, in all its diversity of approaches.

Fête de la science 2022
Save the date!
The quantum information Center Sorbonne is taking part to The  “Fête de la science” (13th to 16th October). This event, coordinated by Sorbonne Université, will be the occasion to present and display the new projects developed by the QICS PhD & PostDocs community and to renew our initiative with OPUS and iMAT.

LOQATHON QICS / Quandela
The QICS jointly with Quandela are organising the first hackathon centered on Linear Optical Quantum Computation “LOQCathon” which will be held in Sorbonne Université, Paris from the 7th to the 9th of November 2022.

Quantum energy initiative
The QICS is taking part to the quantum energy initiative (QEI), a new international initiative jointly launched by Robert Whitney (CNRS LPMMC, Grenoble, France), Olivier Ezratty (consultant and author, France) and Alexia Auffèves (CNRS Institut Néel France and MajuLab Singapore), together with a first seed group of international quantum scientists and industry vendors. The QEI aims to develop a systemic approach to keep in check their energetic footprint and more generally their physical resource cost, already at their early stage.

Microgrant program of the Unitary Fund
The Unitary Fund microgrant program funds explorers across the world to work on quantum technologies.
This program consists in giving give $4,000 awards to individuals and teams pursuing projects that leverage quantum technologies to benefit humanity. The program is unique in its inclusivity (no credentials are required to apply) and low friction (awards are no-strings-attached)
