The goal is to have a drink in the patio and eat all together to share question, experience, in an informal moment.
Registration is now open! Just send us an email at qics@sorbonne-universite.fr
Deadline:  September 22nd

Scientific MEDIATION TRAINING COURSE in quantum information
Accessible only to PhD students and post-docs
The objective of this short training course is to give you the keys to answer easily to questions about your thematic to the widest possible audience. This training course, starting in November, offers you the opportunity to collaborate all together and create projects such as a videoa video game, escape game, game board or any other  “things” you have dreamt to create once.
Registration is now open! Go here to get more information about how to apply and content
Deadline: October the 20th

SCIENCE FAIR – QICS stand
…Recruitment of volunteers!
The QICS is taking part to The  “Fête de la science” (14th & 15th October). This event, coordinated by Sorbonne Université, will be the occasion to present and display the projects developed by the QICS PhD & PostDocs community à Complete program & information here
To present them during these two days, we are looking for quizmasters to host and help general public playing the game, display the videos and explaining the concept. PAPER SUBMISSION TO THE CONVERSATION
The Conversation is an online media which ambition is to turn knowledge and insights from academics into easy-to-read articles, and make them accessible to all readers by a straight collaboration between academics and journalists.
They are very interested by Quantum information and we are all invited to contribute alone or building a small team from 2 to 5 people, with at least a senior researcher or choosing a subject related to your PhD project. The format is 8000 characters (2 pages).
If you are interested, please get back to us to organise your contribution.
As from now, they published an article about quantum computing and quantum communication and several article about quantum physics.

Don't hesitate to contribute by sending us, at qics@sorbonne-universite.fr, any relevant news or material related to Quantum information. You can also use the mailing list at qics-info@listes.upmc.fr to share important information with the community.
