The QICS scientific meet-up

These monthly events gathers all PhD students in quantum information at Sorbonne University alliance every first Wednesday of the month to discover the different theses of the community. It is also sometimes initiated in order to create cross laboratory collaborations.

The QICS scientific meet-up

Seminars by and for QICS doctoral and post-doctoral students only

The QICS proposes to initiate inter-doctoral/post-doctoral seminars of the Sorbonne University Alliance so that its members can discover the vast range of research topics related to quantum information.

Objective:

This monthly event aims to bring together PhD and post-doctoral students working on various and diverse topics of quantum information in order to discover the wide spectrum of research. Through this interdisciplinarity, they will be able, on the one hand, to complete and share their knowledge, and on the other hand, to develop collaborations and joint projects.

Concretely, our mission is to allow PhD and postdoctoral students to meet, to work together and to open the quantum community to other scientific fields. Therefore, people from other research fields are welcome, and are invited to present us the possible synergies between their work and quantum information.
